YOU TOO CAN BE HEALTHY.

Playing the game of Lawn Tennis can be fun. Without doubt it increases the chances of your health enjoying a big boost as basically all parts of your body invariably participates in the game. But for a start, your must be physically strong since the handling of the racket and the running around in the court is no child's play.
The  lawn tennis game like any other game requires a high sense of concentration and physical strength. We play the game with varying targets in mind: For fun, As a hobby, as a money  making venture etc. But our focus today is on playing the game to keep fit. As the word "fit" depicts, we have no reason to allow other unprofitable ideas to drift into our minds when playing the game.
My friend introduced me to the game at our Senior Staff Club. In the beginning, it was real fun participating in it, but as time went by other ideas and activities crept into our minds. These ideas and activities eventually turned out to be our albatross. We just found out that there was need to unwind after a hard day's job, but finding out the appropriate way to unwind after the so called hard day's job did not matter to us. We therefore settled for one or two bottles of beer at the club house after the game almost on daily basis.
The end result was that one bottle after the game graduated to two, then three, four, five and uncontrollable. The principal reason for coming to the club house was defeated. Our initial focus was relegated to the background as time went on and we no longer had the required strength for the game. The competition shifted to how many bottles one could down load at a sitting.I practically became the Self Appointed President of the Supreemost Deckers (Beer Drinkers) Association . Then our health gradually nose dived. At that point, we did not need anybody to advise us to soft pedal.I did not need anybody's permission to resign my "self inflicted" position of the President of the Supremost Deckers Association.
Our decision to retrace our steps eventually paid off as we regained our lost stamina, interest and love for the game. We cut down drastically on our alcoholic drinks consumption and some of us
have abstained completely from it. After the game, I retire home, take a good shower, have a light dinner, watch the telly and retire to bed and now "I Now Sleep like a baby."
